Our large format HP 9000s solvent printer can produce banners at approximately 200 ft²/hr. and up to 54” wide laminated and 58” wide unlaminated. The HP inks used for our digitally printed banners are guaranteed color fast, even unlaminated, for up to 4 years. We generally recommend that our customers get their banners laminated.

It’s a small extra investment to protect against abrasion and stains. However, it is not always necessary, especially for very short term or one time use banners.  Digital printing is ideal for short run banner work.

Banners can be finished in a variety of ways including having ropes sewn in, laminating, hemming and grommeting. For larger runs it becomes more economical to screen print banners.

The cross over point between digital and screen printing depends on the size of the banners, the nature of the art and the quantities ordered.
