Choosing fonts:

Font choices for displays or larger signage should be simple and easily readable...in other words...BOOORRING...

Well not exactly, there are still some tricks to make your message both informative and interesting to the eye. Vary the size of the words and make your most important message jump out. That doesn't mean using 21 pt text vs. 24 pt text. Go for it - try your key words at twice the size of your support copy. Vary the font weight. Use all caps in one or two places. Create interest with underlines or outlines, but be choosey. A black outline in one or two places works - around every word it has no impact.

Digital Graphics - General Information

Advertising Creations bought its first digital printer in 1997. The writing was on the wall and it was clear this was a technology that was here to stay. Still to this day though, screen printing has a place in graphics production. Digital printing is a compliment to traditional forms of graphics production and is now an integrated and critical component of our success.

As digital printing has continued to evolve we have evolved along with it, making strategic acquisitions of new technology as the market has determined their viability. We have added 3 printers since we purchased our first Encad in 1997, as well as adding a Gerber Edge FX thermal transfer printer. Our latest acquisition is an HP900s solvent printer.

Digital printing will continue to evolve and improve and Advertsing Creations will continue to seek out the best of the new technology to compliment and enhance our traditional capabilities. Many shops are one trick ponies that will try to sell you what they have the capability to do. We will sell you what is best for your particular project. We can do this because we have options. Options that were carefully researched to give us the best capabilities that digital printing can offer.
